Sarkin Gobir Congratulates Emir of Ilorin at 86
The Sarkin Gobir and Madawaki of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Yakubu Garba Gobir, has extended warm congratulations to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari,CFR, on the occasion of his 86th birthday.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Sarkin Gobir described Mai Martaba, the Emir of Ilorin as a symbol of unity, wisdom, and enduring leadership whose reign has brought remarkable peace and development to the Ilorin Emirate and beyond.
He commended the monarch’s decades of service to humanity, noting that his fatherly guidance and commitment to justice have continued to strengthen traditional institutions and foster harmonious coexistence among diverse communities.
"Our reverred Royal Highness, The Emir's reign stands as a testament to selfless leadership, integrity, and unwavering dedication to the progress of the Ilorin Emirate,” the statement read.
The Sarkin Gobir further prayed for continued good health, long life, and wisdom for our Royal Father, expressing hope that his leadership would continue to inspire future generations.
