Kwara 2027: Bolarinwa’s Governorship Bid Gains Momentum as APC Stakeholders Declare Support Across LGAs


The governorship ambition of former Kwara APC Chairman, Hon. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa received a boost as Ilorin South Progressive Caucus and Oyun Ethical Movement aligned with his candidacy, citing his political credentials and sacrifices to the Party.

The APC Stakeholders from the two local government areas on Monday declared total support for Bashir Bolarinwa during separate events held in Excellence Hall, Ilorin and Erin-Ile Townhall.

They described Bolarinwa as the most sellable APC Candidate for Kwara 2027 Governorship Election due to his experience as former Councillor, Council Chairman and Federal Lawmaker.

At Excellence Hall, the Caucus comprising APC Stakeholders from 11 wards in Ilorin South local government adopted Bolarinwa as APC Consensus Governorship Candidate and endorsed President Bola Tinubu for second term.

In Erinle, APC Stakeholders attributed their endorsement of Bolarinwa to his political maturity, resilience and leadership capacity to unite different interests which he showcased as Kwara APC Chairman during the OTOGE revolution.

They assured President Bola Tinubu and APC National Leadership that Bolarinwa's Candidacy will give the Party resounding victory in 2027. 

Recall that Bolarinwa last week received nod of Party Stakeholders in Ifelodun, Moro, Offa, Ekiti and Oke-ero local government areas to be the APC Candidate for Kwara 2027 Governorship Election 

Dignitaries at the events include Former APC State Legal Adviser, Barr. Ladi Mustapha, Former APC Senatorial Youth Leader (Kwara Central),Issa Abubakar Alfulani, former State Assistant Publicity Secretary, Lekan Akanbi, SDP House of Assembly Candidate for Oyun LG in 2023, Prince Nurudeen Adesoye and other Party Leaders.
