Former Kwara APC Chairman, Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa, PhD, after submitting his letter of intent to contest the Kwara state governorship election in 2027, embarked on a statewide consultation to share his agenda with the Party Stakeholders across 16 local government areas and solicit support.
Bolarinwa's political experience, connection to grassroots and understanding of Party structure management clearly shows his preparedness for the Number one job in Kwara State.
1. Grassroots acceptability: The excitement displayed by APC Stakeholders and members during Bolarinwa's visit attest to his acceptability across the three Senatorial districts of Kwara State. The reason is not far-fetched, he worked with other APC Stakeholders during the OTOGE revolution to deliver a resounding victory for the Party in 2019 general elections.
2. Engagement of Party Structure: At every local government area, Bolarinwa engages the APC leadership to formally intimate them about his ambition and outlines the credentials that stands him out among all governorship aspirants.
3. Preparedness: BOB in his presentations eloquently discussed the plans he envisions for Kwara State and how he intends to achieve them. From security to agriculture and other sectors, Bolarinwa has a workable master plan to accelerate Kwara State development.
