Kwara State University Commences Maiden Alumni Reunion (See Full Details)

Kwara State University, Malete, the University for Community Development as it loves to be profoundly addressed is an institution that came into existence in 2009 pioneered by Prof. Abdulrasheed Na’Allah as Vice Chancellor (now Vice chancellor for University of Abuja) and since then has seen tremendous growth and success till date. One of the most recent developments in the institution is its acclaimed “Largest West African University Library”, no doubt a beaut to behold with its amazing architectural design, alongside also the Engineering department building.

KWASU now headed by Prof. Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN has received the full support and sponsorship of the new Vice Chancellor as Chief Host in conjunction with the National President KWASU Alumni Association; Mr. Aliyu AbdulKadir Uthman as Host to hold a reunion event and its maiden edition at that, the program is themed “Home Coming” and has kicked off officially on 5th November, 2021 as members and officials of the association paid visits to some of the elderly in the community of Malete bearing gift items as a means of showing appreciations and also giving back to the community in like manner.

The “Home Coming” program is scheduled to hold for three (3) days, the list of events to hold include:

6th Nov.: Novelty football match (KWASU ALUMNI VS GHALIB CHAMBERS)

Venue: Kwara Stadium Complex

Time: 9 a.m.

8th Nov.: Public Lecture & Launching of KWASU Alumni Maiden Journal

Venue: KWASU Mini Convocation Arena

Time: 10 a.m.

12th Nov.: Dinner & Award Night

Venue: Kwara State Banquet Hall, Ilorin

Time: 6 p.m.

This maiden edition of KWASU Alumni reunion “Home Coming” welcomes all alumnus of the great citadel of learning from all corners of the country to come celebrate this moment.
