EID-AL-ADHA: Hon. Bio Urges Constituents To Emulate Teachings Of The Festival



House of Representatives member representing the good people of Baruten/Kaiama Federal Constituency of Kwara State, Hon. Mohammed Omar Bio, congratulated constituents and the entire Muslim Ummah on the auspicious occasion of this year's (1441 AH) Eid-al-Adha festival celebrations, urging Muslims to imbibe the teachings of the festival i.e total self submission to the will of Almighty Allah.

Hon. Bio, in a goodwill message to constituents and the Muslim Ummah through his legislative aide on Media, publicity and communication strategy, stressed the need for unity and peaceful coexistence adding that it is the only panacea to greater constituency.

"The need for peaceful coexistence can not be overemphasized owing to the complex nature of the society diverse ethnicities. We must continue to strengthen the spirit of oneness regardless of ethnic, religious or political affiliations, for that is the only way through which we can build a greater society of our dreams".

The federal lawmaker, while praying to Allah to grant more opportunities to witness many more years of the festival, called on constituents and Kwarans at large to eschew politics of bitterness and ill-feelings as the state stand to gain meaningful development from this otoge front and therefore urge them to support the government of the day.


"While praying to Allah for long live and prosperity to witness many more of this festival, may I use this medium to call on the good people of Baruten/Kaiama Federal Constituency and Kwarans at large to eschew all forms of bitter politics and ill-feelings towards government of the day. Kwara State, as it stands, is in pole position to gain meaningful development from the Gov. AA-led administration and therefore the need to make committed and patriotic sacrifices for the political and religious stability becomes necessary".

The Dan Madami of Ilesha-Baruba also use the goodwill message to urge constituents and Kwarans to observe all safety protocols put in place to curtail the spread of the dreaded virus.

"As we observe and celebrate the Eid-al-Adha festival amid the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, I urge Muslim and constituents to take into consideration all the COVID-19 safety measures put down by the government to contain the coronavirus disease", Hon. Bio said.
