The Wife Of The Kwara State Governor-elect Meet With Kwara APC Women Elite Forum (Photos)

The wife of the Kwara State Governor-elect, Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq has met with the forum of the Kwara APC Women Elite.

Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq who was in convoy with Hajiya Sa'adatu Modibbo Kawu, Engr. Yahaya Idi-Opopo, Hajia Zahra Ribadu and others expressed her joy and appreciation for the support her husband enjoyed throughout the struggle for the Liberation of Kwara.

The group in their welcoming speech through the forum coordinator, Mrs Funmi Adejumo, appreciated the wife of the newly elected Governor of Kwara State for making the group her major priority, being the first group she's visiting after INEC declared her husband, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the winner.

"We welcome you your Excellency ma in our midst and on behalf of this forum I welcome you, ma. We appreciate you for creating time out of your busy schedules for us. We are indeed grateful."

She further expressed that "The forum is formed by women of good character and integrity and the forum is stationed across the 16 LGs of Kwara State and in the 3 senatorial regions of Kwara state."

"The forum come to being due to bad governance and mismanagement by the outgoing administrators and that is why we came together from all works of life and to speak against bad leadership in Kwara with our slogan "Talk the talk and Walk the work".

"The request of this group from your government ma is equal representation, creation of job for the youths, People oriented projects and empowerment programmes for the women..."

Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq while responding to the request of the forum stated that she has been following the forum activities on social media for long and that is why she made the forum her first meeting after the INEC declaration.

"I appreciate this group for all you did for my husband, your brother during the campaign and most especially for the freedom of Kwara. I am indeed grateful to you all.

"I want everyone to be rest assured that this government is going to be a government of the masses."

"My husband has been known for empowerment in the state over the years and we look forward to bring more of such empowerment and jobs on a larger scale through the government and by the grace of God, unemployment will be history in Kwara. So all we need is your prayers and support to move Kwara to the Next level we are all craving for." She said

In a closing remarks by Alhaja Mairo Mustapha, she appreciated Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq for the visit to the forum and prayed for the success of Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq administration.
