Ifelodun APC Assures New Members Of Warm Reception

Ifelodun local government chapter, All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State has assured those intending to join the party that, "they will be well received and accommodated".

The party's Chairman in Ifelodun local government area of the State, Alhaji Mohammed Shilo Awobimpe stated in a statement that, " the recent landslide victory recorded by our great party can only be dedicated to different shades of people who made it possible.

"Many people contributed to the success of the party, it is however, not for those of us within alone. We know those who worked from different backgrounds to deliver the 100% victory.

"We must therefore be magnanimous in victory just like President Muhammadu Buhari admonished us. We want to assure our brothers and sisters willing to join us to do so now.

"There is nothing like discrimination in our party. We are fair to all. When you join us you will be accorded every right as a member in a progressive party," he said.

Awobimpe commended everyone in his local government area that worked to ensure APC emerged victorious.

"We are grateful to the leadership of our great party, traditional rulers, community and opinion moulders, clergymen and every development association for the support offered our party.

"We are grateful to trade unions, artisans and civil servants that cast their votes for APC. We are praying God to continue to lead aright.

"The coming election is damn too critical to whether our local government will remain or totally bankrupt because the third tier of government in Kwara State is only struggling for survival", he concluded.
