BREAKING: Hoodlums Storm National Assembly, Shot Security, Cart Away The Mace

According to available information, Seven (7) men, led by Suspended Senator Omo-Agege, APC, representing Delta Central broke into the Natioanal Assembly with weapons in an attempt to overthrow the leadership of both chambers.

In the cause of their action the mace of the Senate was taken and two people were left injured and taking to the hospital for medical services. Three of the culprits have been apprehended.

According to a source the National Assembly got hint few days ago that this was being planned for yesterday and measures were put in place. The chambers being an hallowed ground where weapons are not allowed, the thugs were able to over power the Sargent At Arms with their weapons.

The Senator who was suspended by the senate last week on April 12, during plenary over his remarks that the amendment of the 2010 Electoral Act, which changes the sequence of elections set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was targeted at President Muhammadu Buhari.
