Gobir Congratulates Olohungbebe on Emergence as Chairman, Education Commissioners Forum
The Sarkin Gobir and Madawaki of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Yakubu Garba Gobir, has congratulated the Kwara State Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Dr. Lawal Olohungbe (Olorungbebe), on his emergence as the Chairman of Nigeria’s Forum of Education Commissioners.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Sarkin Gobir described Dr. Olohungbe’s elevation as “a well-deserved national recognition that reflects his visionary and innovative leadership in the education sector.”
He noted that Kwara State has continued to gain national visibility under Olohungbe’s stewardship, especially in reforming public schools, strengthening human capital development, and promoting policies that enhance learning outcomes.
Gobir further expressed confidence that the new chairman will excel in his expanded national role, adding that his emergence is also a testament to the enabling environment created by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, whose unwavering commitment to education reforms has placed Kwara at the forefront of development.
“Dr. Olohungbe’s dedication to transforming education in Kwara is evident. His emergence as chairman will not only benefit the state but will bring fresh ideas and impactful leadership to the entire country,” Gobir said.
He congratulated the commissioner and wished him success in steering the affairs of Education Commissioners across Nigeria.
