Yahaya Seriki Urges Kwarans to Participate in Voter Registration Ahead of 2027 Elections

An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Kwara State, Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki Gambari, has called on eligible citizens to take full advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.

In a press statement issued in Ilorin, Seriki Gambari described voter registration as a civic duty and a fundamental right that empowers citizens to influence leadership and governance in the state.

He emphasized that the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) remains the strongest tool for shaping the future of Kwara.

“Your vote is your voice. I appeal to every eligible Kwara citizen to register and ensure they can influence the decisions that impact our state’s development,” he said.

The APC stalwart particularly urged young people who have just attained the voting age of 18 to seize the opportunity to register, stressing that their participation is vital in determining the direction of the state come 2027.

Seriki Gambari also noted that the exercise provides room for those who have lost their PVCs, need to update their details, or intend to transfer their voting unit to their current community.

“Our PVC guarantees that our community’s interests are represented in governance. This is the time for every Kwara citizen to take action. Register today and make your voice count,” he added.

He called on stakeholders, political leaders, and community influencers to mobilize residents towards active participation in the exercise, assuring that collective efforts will strengthen democracy and secure a brighter future for Kwara State.
