APC Suspends Hon. Iliasu Ibrahim in Moro LGA Over Outburst Against Kwara Governor
The All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders and executives in Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State have suspended Hon. Iliasu Ibrahim of Oloru Ward indefinitely over alleged anti-party and anti-government activities.
According to a suspension letter obtained by the press and signed by Mallam Jimoh Raji, Chairman of APC in Oloru Ward, the decision was taken in line with the party’s constitution on discipline and misconduct.
The suspension came just a few hours after Hon. Iliasu Ibrahim granted a radio interview in Ilorin, where he openly criticized the current administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and expressed views considered contrary to the party’s position.
The stakeholders and executives expressed confidence that the Kwara State APC leadership will uphold and ratify the suspension in the interest of party unity and discipline.
Efforts to reach Hon. Iliasu Ibrahim for his reaction proved abortive, as his phone lines were unreachable.
