PHOTOS: Community Mourns the Loss of Respected Hon. Mrs Elizabeth Olufunmilayo Anjorin


....Dignitaries Gather to Honor Her Legacy

Dignitaries from various spheres of life gathered today to honor the late Hon. Mrs Elizabeth Olufunmilayo ANJORIN at her Christian Wake-Keep service. 

Hon. ANJORIN, who passed away at the age of 67, was a respected figure in her community, having held positions such as the Former Vice Chairman and Supervisor for Finance, as well as the Secretary to the Ekiti Local Council of Kwara State under Hon. Yinka Dallas's leadership.


The Wake-Keep program took place at her residence in the Onikanga area of Gaa-akanbi and was officiated by the Chapel of Redemption UMCA in Ilorin.

During the service, attendees including neighbors, friends, church members, and colleagues shared fond memories of Hon. ANJORIN, praising her kind and compassionate nature. Many spoke of her willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need.


In a speech on behalf of the family, Amb. Babatunde ANJORIN expressed gratitude to friends, relatives, and well-wishers for their support during this challenging time. He also announced that Hon. ANJORIN would be laid to rest in her hometown of Isare-Opin, Ekiti LGA, tomorrow morning. 

The presence of several dignitaries added significance to the event. Notable attendees included Sen. S.S Ajibola, Hon. Ebun Owolabi, Hon. Gbenga Makanjuola, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, Amb. Shola Ilyas, Hon. Dele Abiodun, Hon. Bukola Abel, Hon. Oluwole Ayeni, Chief C.T Ayeni, Hon. Bode Ogunleye, and Hon. Folake Yusuf. Also in attendance were Chief Mrs. Magrete (Kwara South Women Forum), Amb. Olusegun Adebayo (Opin ward PDP secretary), and the Kwara South PDP youth leader.


Hon. ANJORIN's passing represents a significant loss to the community, and her impact and contributions will be remembered by all whose lives she touched.
