By Adedayo Said

The YPP House of Reps Candidate for the Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency Charles Olufemi Folayan (Asoju Odo) has promised to spread sustainable wealth to all class of the people in his constituency, when elected.

Speaking to community youths today after attending the Light of Kajola Club’s Program in Kajola town, Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State with the YPP House of Assembly Candidate for Oke-Ero Constituency Hon. Olayinka Ogungbayi (Ajetunmobi)

Folayan berates attitude of some elected leaders who he said are pockets millions of public funds while the vast majority of the people lives in abject poverty.

He urged the youth to stand firm for the YPP 2023 Ballot Revolution without fear of any intimidation but to work tirelessly to end the scourge of poverty across villages and towns in their constituency.

“I’m in this race to win and to achieve what the name of this community stands for “Kajola”. It’s very unfair and ungodly for people who were voted by the masses to pocket millions of Naira while the vast majority of the electorate lives in abject poverty in villages and towns. We are all supposed to enjoy dividends of democracy and spread the wealth “Kajola, Kajolowo.

“I couldn’t hold my tears when I visited some communities in our constituency recently, they practically lived like they have no government. Sadly politicians visits this villages every election season to mobilize for votes but prioritize their own personal mansions and luxury cars above the people’s common needs.

“My candidacy is an opportunity for the youth to enthrone leadership that would end the sordid practices of political jobbers. I’m determined to spread wealth across our constituency and ensuring that the last person in the smallest hamlet of our constituency enjoys dividends of democracy.

I urge you all to see this as a lifetime opportunity and use all our energy, skills and population to achieve it. The success would go beyond me but a success for the poor, the downtrodden and the teaming unemployed youth who works for politicians without commensurate reward.
