Xmas: Senator Rafiu Rejoices With Christians, Donates Package To His People

In his usual tradition of reaching out to his constituents during festive periods, former Kwara South lawmaker, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim has commenced donation of cash gifts to elderly people, widows, religious leaders and youth across the seven local government areas of Kwara South. 

The gesture according to the senator's aide, Hon. Bakinde Gbenga Emmanuel, is to enable the beneficiaries have a joyful celebration this festive season. 

Senator Rafiu has meanwhile felicitated with Christians in kwara state and across the country as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. 

He charged the Christian faithful and all Nigerians to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity in line with the true teachings of Jesus Christ, and also urged them to use the occasion to pray for peace, progress and development of the nation. 

As Coronavirus cases continue to increase in the country, Senator Rafiu has called on Nigerians to celebrate with caution and moderation. He reminded them of the need to always observe the Covid-19 protocols put in place by the government.
