... advises on risk management

Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has sympathised with the Olofa of Offa, HRM Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi (Esuwoye II) and the people of Offa on the tragic fire incidence at Owode market on yesterday. Adeyemi who is a son of Balogun Ori Afara Offa, revealed this in a statement through ENACT Media Team.

According to the statement, the market inferno was was an ugly incidence detrimental to the recovering economic growth of Offa and environs. It's indeed a tragic one.

While reacting to the possible cause of the fire outbreak, Adeyemi insinuated on likelihood of power surge.

He however advised the stakeholders in the Market and fire services, that the fire service needs to partner with the leaders of the market to ensure adequate sensitization and education on fire prevention measures.

This Owode fire is becoming too frequent and urgent steps required. We should use the lessons from these devastation in partnering with the market leaders. Such a big market probably deserves its own standby fire fighting unit. Fire services can only limit the damage while prevention can eliminate damages, he believed.

The ENACT Principal therefore prayed that May the God provide succor to our brothers and sisters in Offa. May God be with us all.
