We Will Ensure Every Child is immunized Against All Preventable Diseases- Hon Owolabi

The Kwara state House of Assembly member and chairman house committe on health and environmental issues, Hon. Owolabi Olatunde Rasaq has reiterated the commitment of the state government to Ensure Every Child is immunized Against All Preventable Diseases.

Hon. Razaq Owolabi stated this on Thursday when he joined other dignitaries in Flag-Off of NATIONAL IMMUNIZATION PLUS DAYS (NIPDs).

The Deputy Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi chaired the FLAG-OFF CEREMONY OF NATIONAL IMMUNIZATION PLUS DAYS (NIPDs) Organized by KWARA STATE PRIMARY HEALTH CARE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY in Ilorin.

Hon. Owolabi in his address appreciated Governor of Kwara State Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and his Deputy for ensuring immunization services reaches every child in the state.

He also commended the Kwara Firstlady Dr. Mrs Olufolake Ajike Abdulrazaq for her support and unrelenting efforts to ensure wellbeing of the people of Kwara and for a better future of our children.

"However, the legislature under the watch of our amiable Speaker Rt. Hon.Yakubu Salihu Danladi is opened to collaboration in the spate to ensure every child is immunized against all preventable diseases."

He further urged every mother to make their children available as immunization does not kill or affect children negatively against the backdrop of some cultural belief.
