Hon Razaq Owolabi Obtains JAMB for 30 Students, Pays WAEC Exams fee for 10


The Lawmaker representing Share/Oke-Ode constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Owolabi Olatunde Rasaq has obtained Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for 30 students and pays West African Examinations Council (WAEC) fees of 10 indigent candidates in his constituency.

The 40 students that cut across Share 1, Share 11, Share 111, Share 1V, Share V, Oke-Ode 1, Oke-Ode 11, Oke-Ode 111, Ilere, Oro-Ago Wards of Share/Oke-Ode constituency benefited from the education scholarship initiative of Hon. Owolabi Rasaq.

Recalled that on 2nd February, 2020 Hon. Owolabi started his education scholarship scheme with payment of school fees for over 300 students in elementary schools within his constituency.

While addressing the beneficiaries, on Tuesday, Hon. Owolabi stated that the payment of the exam fees is in line with his campaign promises and as part of his annual activities to ensure attainment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4, to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education.

According to him "the intervention became imperative in view of the people's demands."

He further said his office is committed to the well-being of his people and the development of Share/Oke-Ode constituency.
