Hon. Owolabi Razaq Visits Oro-Ago Ward, Empowers 15 Constituents! (Photos)

The Kwara State House of Assembly member representing Share/Oke-Ode constituency, Hon. Owolabi Razak in continuation of his appreciation visit and Empowerment Programme on Sunday gave 15 people start up capital.

Hon. Owolabi who launched his empowerment programme in September, 2019 with 10 beneficiaries in line with his campaign promises stormed Oro-Ago, Omugo, Okedaba, Irabon, Ajegunle communities under Oro-Ago ward to appreciate APC members for their commitment to "O TO GE" liberation movement and success achieved at the polls during the last general elections in the state.

Not less than 15 people also benefited from his financial empowerment at Oro-Ago ward, including widows and vulnerable individuals.

While presenting the cash gift to the beneficiaries Hon. Owolabi said "I appreciate God for the opportunity I have today to stand before you all in fulfillment of my promises, I appreciate my Governor, His Excellency AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Deputy Governor Elder Kayode Alabi, My Honourable Speaker, Rtr. Hon. Yakubu Danladi Salihu for their unflinching supports and my gratitude also goes to Her Excellency Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq for her motherly support at all time."

"When I was campaigning I promised that if our party APC wins the election I will be back here to appreciate you all for the support and here I am today to fulfill my promise, because a man's word is his honour."

"My purpose of coming is not only that but also to give some of our aged and vulnerable members financial support which I did the same thing at Oke-Ode last month." he stressed.

He further said "I can't sit down in Ilorin and expect our old fathers and mothers to come to my office in Ilorin. So it is my duty as your representative to come down here to know your challenges and put it forward to the government for execution."

Hon. Owolabi however urges his constituents to continue to support the government of Kwara State with their prayers and also promised them his continuous support, and full commitment.

"All that's needed from you is your prayers for the present administration led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and I am promising you that I will utilise any opportunity that comes my way for the betterment of this constituency." He concluded.
