Gov. AbdulRazaq Starts Second Phase Of Road Rehabilitation


As part of his continual effort to improve the state and change the known history of deplorable state of roads in Kwara State, the Kwara Road Maintenance Agency following the directive of the Kwara state governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has commenced the second phase of roads rehabilitation across the state starting today Wednesday 17th July 2019.

The roads that has received attention so far in this second phase include: the stretch of Adeta-Adabata-Agaka roads; Hajj camp - Ilorin west LGA road; Lagos road, Adewole;
Amuda Gobir road, Adewole.

Others are potholes filling at Ahmadu Bello way, Challenge junction, UBA junction and Unity road.

Worthy of note is that despite the little resources at the disposal of the state, the governor has ensured that adequate attention is given to this roads in order to improve the movement of people and stir up economic activities around those areas.

Governor AbdulRazaq who has continually shown his resolve to work tirelessly to deliver on his campaign promises to Kwarans is not leaving anything to procrastination as he is set to commence the third phase of the rehabilitation almost immidiately after the second phase is completed.

Meanwhile, the second phase is expected to end next week Monday and the third phase will resume immediately.

The General Manager of KWARMA Engr. Usman Jubril, KWARMA Secretary Amos Tunde Thompson and the Operation Engineer Engr. Ibrahim led the team carrying out the ongoing road rehabilitation across the state as instructed by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
