Yakubu Danladi Declared Winner of APC Governorship Primaries in Kwara
The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Yakubu Danladi, has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Kwara State.
The result was officially announced on Friday at the State Banquet Hall, Ilorin, by the Chairman of the APC Governorship Primary Election Committee, Musiliu Obanikoro.
According to the committee, Danladi secured over 94,000 votes to clinch the party’s governorship ticket ahead of 2027.
Other notable contenders in the exercise included Abdulfatai Yahya Seriki, Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa, and Femi Sanni ARABA, declared second, third, and fourth respectively in the race involving 15 aspirants.
