Kwara 2027: Kwara-South Deserves It's Turn

Let us go down memory lane a bit. I start from Governor Mohammed Lawal (KC- 4 years) to Governor Bukola Saraki (KC- 8 years) to Governor Abdulfatai Ahmed (KS- 8 years) to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (KC- 8 years, by 2027).
Kwara North was supposed to occupy the seat after Governor Ahmed but they missed their turn, like a team boycotting a game. The next in turn, is Kwara South, if Kwara North that willfully shunned their turn in 2023, is not availed a compassionate repeat.
It runs counter to any logic that, Kwara Central, which has the largest time share in pivoting Kwara, should again go in for a possible 8 years, after completing an 8 year uninterrupted tenure. 16 years at a stretch. Our leaders, traditional and political, must rise up to the present challenge.
They should speak up in one voice, rejecting any manipulations or scheming meant to deny or rob Kwara South of the opportunity to produce the next Governor of Kwara state. God bless Kwara South.
