Hon. Ndakene Graces Commissioning of Kursi Group HQ in Abuja


A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ndakene, on Thursday attended the grand opening and official commissioning of the Corporate Headquarters of Kursi Investments Limited (Kursi Group) in Abuja.

The event marked another milestone for the indigenous mining and mineral processing company, founded by Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki Gambari (MFR), whose leadership has positioned the company as a major player in Nigeria’s mining and industrial sector.

Speaking through the significance of the occasion, dignitaries commended the company’s contributions to employment generation, mineral development, and economic growth across several states in Nigeria.

Ambassador Seriki Gambari, a businessman, philanthropist, and United Nations-accredited Peace Ambassador, was also praised for his commitment to youth empowerment and community development through various initiatives under his foundation, which supports entrepreneurs, artisans, market women, and vulnerable groups.

The commissioning ceremony was attended by the Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, GCON who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON.

Also present were the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, representatives of the Emir of Ilorin, traditional rulers, captains of industry, and other notable personalities.

Hon. Ndakene, who previously represented Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency, was recognised for his continued advocacy for grassroots development, youth empowerment, and support for indigenous enterprises.

Observers noted that his presence at the commissioning reflects his commitment to sustainable economic development and the promotion of local industries capable of driving national growth and industrial transformation.
