Yahaya Seriki Youth Alliance Congratulates Prince Sunday Fagbemi, Other APC Executives

The Yahaya Seriki Youth Alliance has extended congratulations to the newly elected executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, particularly Chairman Prince Sunday Adeniran Fagbemi, who retained his position for a second term. The group's coordinator, Olalere Kayode, expressed optimism that the new executives will deliver on their promises come 2027.

In a statement released yesterday from YASYA office Ilorin, Amb Olalere Kayode appealed to the party leadership to consider Ambassador Yahaya Seriki Gambari MFR, a prominent son of Kwara State, as the next governor of the state, citing calls from prominent youths across the state.

This development is seen as part of the ongoing political jockeying ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Kwara State, with succession emerging as key issues within the APC.

The APC has not officially decided on zoning the governorship ticket for 2027, with Prince Sunday Fagbemi stating that the party is yet to discuss the schedule.

Ambassador Yahaya Seriki Gambari is seen as a potential candidate, with a strong track record of service, empowerment, and community-driven initiatives. He has demonstrated political acumen and organisational expertise, having served as Director-General of the APC campaigns in 2019 and 2023.

The group urge all stakeholders to consider Kwarans first son Amb Yahaya Seriki Gambari MFR as the man who the cap fit.

e-signed;

Amb Olalere Kayode
Coordinator, Yahaya Seriki Youth Alliance.
Tuesday 3, March 2026.
