Kwara APC Loses Key Member in Moro LGA Amid Internal Crisis

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State has suffered a major setback following the resignation of Hon. Abdullahi AbdulRauph AbdulSalam (Saraki Adini), a prominent member from Moro Local Government Area.

In a formal resignation letter addressed to the APC Chairman of Okutala Ward, Hon. AbdulSalam cited persistent internal conflicts, leadership shortcomings, and a lack of unity within the party as the key reasons for his departure.

“I defected to the APC in March 2023 due to certain circumstances, but the party's failure to manage crises and foster peaceful coexistence among its leaders has made it impossible to remain,” he stated.

He further referenced the recent crisis in Moro LGA, which reportedly led to physical attacks on party members, as a turning point in his decision to leave.

Expressing gratitude for his time with the party, Hon. AbdulSalam emphasized his commitment to working with individuals who prioritize peace and development, aiming to restore Kwara State’s lost glory.

His resignation marks another blow to the APC in Kwara State, as internal divisions continue to raise concerns ahead of future political activities.
