BREAKING: Sunday Fagbemi, Ishowo Both Leading Kwara APC to Doom — Yinka Dallas

A former Executive Chairman of Ekiti Local Government and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Chief Yinka Ayeni Dallas, has accused the state party chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, and the secretary, Alhaji Ishowo, of leading the party into disarray due to their leadership failures. He asserted that the duo should be held responsible for the deteriorating state of the APC in Kwara.

Dallas, in a reaction to a Facebook post by the Kwara PDP Spokesman, Sholyment Olusegun Olusola, announcing the resignation of an APC member from Moro Local Government, Alhaji Abdullahi Abdulrauf (popularly known as Heavy), stated that the departure was a direct consequence of the party’s leadership crisis. Abdulrauf had cited a lack of direction and leadership failure in his local government chapter as reasons for leaving the party.

According to Dallas, both Fagbemi and Ishowo have demonstrated a lack of leadership capacity, leading to the party’s failures across all levels—from the state to local governments and wards. He further called for their resignation, arguing that the APC in Kwara is yet to even recognize the root of its problems.

“This resignation letter should be tagged to Prince Sunday Fagbemi. It is a direct result of the leadership failure from the state level down to the local governments and wards,” Dallas stated. “In a functional system, both Prince Fagbemi and Alhaji Ishowo should have resigned as State Chairman and Secretary. Only God knows the true nature of the crisis within Kwara APC.”
