Empowerment: Igbomina Group Hails Senator Saliu Mustapha
The Omo Ibile Igbomina, a leading socio-cultural organization in Igbomina land, has expressed profound gratitude to Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, for his generous donation of a bus to the group during the last empowerment programme.
In a statement released by the organization’s Public Relations Officer, Chief Hammed Aiyedun, and made available to journalists, the group acknowledged the senator’s support as a significant boost to their activities.
The National President of Omo Ibile Igbomina, Elder Gabriel Jimoh, described the donation as the fulfillment of a promise made by Senator Mustapha during the recent Igbomina Day celebration, where he served as the chief launcher.
“This gesture reflects Senator Mustapha’s unwavering commitment to community development and his dedication to empowering various groups within his constituency,” Elder Jimoh stated.
He further commended the senator for his broader contributions to human capital development, infrastructure improvement, and the empowerment of women and youth across Kwara Central.
According to the statement, the newly donated bus will enhance the organization’s mobility and engagement with communities, strengthening efforts to preserve and promote Igbomina’s rich cultural heritage.
