Father And Son Abducted In Kwara


Yesterday evening, a distressing incident unfolded in the Ijara-Isin area of Isin local government area in Kwara State as a father, identified as Dipe Ajayi, and his son, Ajayi Femi, were abducted. This incident occurred at the same location where a previous abduction took place two months ago, according to a community source who spoke anonymously to Kwarareporters.com.

Following the incident, Superintendent Ajayi Okasanmi, the Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Kwara State Police Command, confirmed the kidnapping. 

"Upon receiving the distress signal, the state commissioner of police, Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi, promptly deployed the anti-kidnap squad to the scene. In a unified effort, local vigilantes and hunters also joined forces with the police to rescue the victims."

The abduction has sent shockwaves throughout the community, raising concerns about the security situation in the area. The recurrence of such incidents within a short span of time has sparked anxiety among residents and underscores the need for enhanced security measures.

The Kwara State Police Command has launched a thorough investigation into the abduction, aiming to identify the perpetrators and secure the safe release of the father and son.
