Guber Poll: Do Everything Possible To Deliver AbdulRazaq, Others, Saliu Mustapha Charges' Campaign Team

By Adedayo Said

The Kwara Central Senator-elect, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, has tasked members of his campaign team to work assiduously for the All Progressives Congress candidates in the Saturday Governorship and State House of Assembly elections.

Mustapha stated this during a meeting with members of his campaign committees on Monday.

At the meeting, our correspondent gathered that the team reviewed the intricacies and the issues that confronted the party during the Presidential and National Assembly elections.

They also examined areas of strength and weakness, this newspaper learnt.

On the front burner of the team's discussion was the re-election of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the emergence of all party candidates vying for seats in the Kwara State House of Assembly.

Mustapha, while speaking during the meeting, stated that the victory of the party in the forthcoming poll is non-negotiable.

"Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has done well enough in the last 4 years. He's given each and every one of you the right vibe to campaign and canvass proudly. So, go all out and spare no efforts. Let's repeat the winning trick 100% again."

While charging the team, Mustapha advised them to conduct themselves in the best possible manners throughout the election period.

"Again, we resolved to conduct ourselves in the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections, in line with the provisions of the constitution and according to electoral guidelines.

After all, we are true democrats, progressive in our thoughts and deeds. As we won free, fair, credible, and convincingly in the just concluded national elections, APC candidates will also emerge victorious in the state elections on March 11, 2023," said the Senator-elect.
