Eid-il-Fitri: Deputy Speaker, Adetiba Felicitates With Muslim Faithfuls, Calls For Peace

The Kwara State House of Assembly Deputy Speaker and Honourable representing Oke-Ero constituency,Hon. Adetiba-Olanrewaju Raphael has felicitated with Kwara Muslims on the occasion of the Eid-il Fitri, which marks the end of the Ramadan fasting.

Hon. Adetiba in his message call for peace and urged Kwarans to seize the opportunity of the Eid-il Fitri to pray against the security challenges the state and Nigeria as a whole is battling with.

His words; " As we celebrate Eid-il-fitr, which marks the end of the Ramadan fast, I urge everyone, regardless of our religious beliefs, to continue to keep the peace and to live in unity with one another".

“At this critical stage of our dear nation, we should continue to pray for peace, end to security challenges and for growth and development to be accelerated in Kwara and in Nigeria as whole.” he said.

Hon. Adetiba also urges Kwarans to continue to observe all COVID-19 prevention measures and celebrate responsibly during the celebration.
