Kwara Gov. Aide, SOJ Denies Involvement In Ile-Arugbo Attack
An Aide to the Kwara State Governor, Soji Obasanjo Alashi popularly known as S.O.J, who handles domestic affairs at the Government House has denied his involvement in the shooting incident that occurred at Ile Arugbo on the sidelines of the visit of the former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki to Ilorin.
SOJ in his words said; "My attention has been drawn to an article circulating on social media which is trying to indict me, Soji Obasanjo "SOJ" as the sponsor of the crises that occurred at the 8th Year Remembrance Prayer of Baba Saraki which was held at his G.R.A home in Ilorin."
"If people will recall, a WhatsApp chat had gone viral even before the prayer, suggesting that I was organizing thugs to cause crisis at the said program in a bid to dent my image and the image of Kwara State Government as a close aide of the Governor."
"Over the years, I have built a good image for myself in Kwara politics as I yearn for a better Kwara of our dream. I cannot therefore be part of any move that will cause distractions to the peace and harmony we are all enjoying in our dear State."
"I have informed the security agency to investigate the alleged Photoshop WhatsApp image in circulation in order to trace it's source so as to send a serious signal to people that are bent on destroying the peace and harmony of our dear state."
