I Did Not Abandoned My Wife Because Of The Color Of Her Eyes - Husband
Fresh facts have emerged on the reason why Risiqot Moromoke Azeez- Ayegbami, the Ilorin blue-eyed lady and her heartthrob, Abdulwasiu Jimoh Olomoyoyo were separated.
In an exclusive interview with Kwara Reporters in Ilorin, Abdulwasiu of Ile Olomoyoyo House in Dada area of Okelele in Ilorin explained that there is no iota of truth in the allegations that he drove his wife out of his house because of the colour of her eyes or that of her children.
“I married her because of the colour of her eyes so why would I drive her out because of it. The issue is that when she gave birth the second time, she gave birth to twins but unfortunately one of the twin had a condition that warranted us taking them both to the hospital.
“I spent all my earnings at the UITH infact I had to sell my land and the building I was constructing on it to take care of the child but unfortunately the child died.
“Few months after her family insisted we do her marriage because her siblings had already done and she was the only one left behind. I didn’t have money but I struggled for what I could get and did what I could do it was after this that she decided to pack her things and leave my house,” he stated.
According to Wasiu who is a Vulcanizer, since she left his house, he had been going to their family house to play his role but she had refused to come back to him.
Buttressing this, a sibling of the husband, Dauda Aje, said, “’Wasiu didn’t abandon her at all, he did his best for her. If she said it is not enough it is good but saying he abandoned her and the children is not correct.”
Another sibling, Saheed Jimoh told Kwara Reporters that the two of them were inseparable lovebirds always wearing the same colour of cloth. “My brother was proud of her and show her off at any given opportunity. Why she has decided to malign him now is what we don’t understand, afterall she was the one who packed out of his house.”
