Adetiba Mourns IVTEC Chairman, Hon. Shittu

The Deputy Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Honourable Adetiba-Olanrewaju Raphael expresses shock over the death of Chairman of the IVTEC Hon. Ayodele Shittu, who died in the early hour of today Saturday 15th day of August in the year 2020. 

Hon. Shittu was a prominent chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state and former Deputy Speaker Kwara State House of Assembly.

“This is a tragic development and a sad moment for us. We are short of words. Hon Shittu was always full of life. He was a community leader, a role model to several people from his community and beyond, and an intellectual who served the state at different times,” according to the statement signed by his S. A. Media, Femi Ajiboye. 

“His role as a political moderate and grassroots politician in Offa community will be sorely missed. We commiserate with his family and pray the Almighty God to grant him eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear this huge loss.”
