Hon. Owolabi Rasaq Meets With Oke-Ode Ward III, Dole Out Cash Gift To 10 Widow
The Kwara State House of Assembly member representing Share/Oke-Ode constituency, Hon. Owolabi Rasaq in continuation of his door to door visit to widows and vulnerable individuals in his constituency presented cash to 10 Constituents in Oke-Ode ward III.
Hon. Owolabi who launched this programme in September, 2019 with over 25 beneficiaries in line with his campaign promises, on Saturday visited Omi-Aro, Daburoki village, Labaka Oja, Eleyele, Asungbale, Kere Aje, Labaka Idera, Gbede communities under Oke-Ode ward III to appreciate the widows and vulnerable individuals for their commitment to "O TO GE" Liberation Movement and success achieved during the last general elections in the state.
While presenting the cash gift to the beneficiaries Hon. Owolabi said "after the victory of our party during the last polls i have been moving from wards to wards to give some aged widows and vulnerable individuals financial support which is part of my campaign promises and my agenda to alleviate poverty among our people."
He further said "the little i have been doing is from my personal income and this is just to satisfy my conscience. And by God grace we shall deliver our campaign promises. All i need is your prayers and your continuous support for this administration led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq."
Alhaji Suleiman Aweda, the chairman Oke-Ode ward III during the visit appreciated Hon. Owolabi Rasaq for his kind gesture towards the communities under Oke-Ode ward III and he assured him of their continuous support.
Hon. Owolabi Razaq also paid a courtesy visit to the Palace of the King of Labaka Oja, Omi-Aro and Asungbale Community where he appreciated the monarchs for the fatherly role they played in sustaining peace within their domain.
