Kwara First Lady And Others Conferred With Tuberculosis Champion Award

Her Excellency Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq yesterday was honoured as the Tuberculosis champion.

The Kwara First lady was made Tuberculousis champion at an investiture alongside other First ladies by HE Dr Mrs Aisha Buhari during a Peer Review meeting at State House Abuja yesterday, 9th December 2019.

This honour comes in recognition of the effort of the Kwara State First Lady towards the Advocacy/war against Tuberculosis in the state.

Her initiative, the “Ajike People's Support Centre” is aimed at contributing to the reduction of maternal and infant mortality and supporting the youth and children.

The wife of the Vice President Dr Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo was also made a TB champion alongside the First ladies.

Highlights of events at the peer review meeting included the unveiling of the Antenna magazine a feature publication for the Governors Wives Action Committee on Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health.
