Hon. Owolabi Donates Solar Powered Street Light To Three Communities


The Kwara State House of Assembly member representing Share/Oke-Ode constituency, Hon. Owolabi Razaq on Sunday donated Solar powered streetlights to Apata Aje, Gaa-Oke Lute, Gaa-Ori Oke communities in his constituency.


Hon. Owolabi while commissioning the project said the desire to improve the lives of his constituents necessitated the donation of street lights for the communities.

The Lawmaker while reiterating his commitment to wellbeing of People of Share/Oke-Ode Constituency said: "Anytime I sleep all I think about is you all not because of anything but because of the mandate you all gave to me and it is my responsibility to make sure you all are living comfortable.


"Light is life and I will do everything in my capacity to accelerate democratic dividends and be transparent, accountable, as well as very prudent with the resources of the people."

He also promised to make the masses feel impact of good governance and enjoy dividends of democracy as well as the prosperity vision  of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.


He therefore urged the people of the communities to continue to support the Kwara State government in their prayers.

The Lawmaker however assured other communities that are yet to benefit from his "Light up programme" not to be discouraged, promising to roll out next phase of the programme soon.


The majority of the residence of the benefiting communities are fulanis and Nupes.
