NPM Guber Aspirant Oniyangi Pledges To Restore The Lost Glories Of Kwara


The Kwara State Gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the New Progressive Movement (NPM) Alhaji Abdulazeez Yinka Oniyangi stormed Ilorin amidst thrills and frills with pledges to restructuring the state through infrastructural developments, creation of employment opportunities, youths inclusiveness in policy making and implementations, empowerments and revitalisation of the epileptic economy.

Oniyangi who stormed the Ilorin International Airport around 3:30pm on Thursday was welcomed by thousands of teeming youths, aged, sons and daughters of Kwara State, who trooped out en masse with drums and trumpets to declare supports for the man they labeled as the people's choice.

Oniyangi alongside thousands of loved ones, party faithfuls, stakeholders, stalwarts and supporters paid homage to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu Gambari who gave his Royal blessings, urging for peaceful electioneering activities ahead of the 2019 General Elections.

The exciting crowds followed the aspirant to his father's residence at Oniyangi Compound in an ultimate show of respect and honor to his line of natural descent before heading to his mother's family house, Idi-agbon Compound where he was accepted by a large number of youths who gave nods to his gubernatorial ambition with promises to canvass, mobilise and cast their votes for him.

At the party Secretariat, Oniyangi was enthusiastically welcomed by the National and State Chairmen alongside party executives at all levels, where he was presented as the flag-bearer of the party for the gubernatorial race.

Speaking at the Secretariat, the NPM aspirant affirmed that the socio-political configurations of the state required urgent transitions which would equally open doors for profitable investments in youths, job creations, infrastructural and sustainable developments.

Oniyangi however called for the unflinching supports of the people of the state towards eventual upliftment and better livelihoods of the people, stating that elevating Kwara state to the peak is the collective responsibilities of all and sundry.
