Adeyemi Bags 'Icon Of Igbomina' Award And Several Others

On the weekend starting on Friday July 6th, 2018, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun began a whirl wind award tours that began with Igbomina National Students Union presenting “The Icon of Igbomina” to Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi during its award and dinner night held on Friday July 6th, 2018 at Ilorin, Kwara State.  Then on Saturday July 7th, 2018 at far away University of Benin, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun bagged the “Leadership Personality of the Year” award during the Prestige Anchor Leadership Empowerment and Capacity Building award known as PALEC AWARDS 3.0 award night.

On the same night in faraway Atlanta, Georgia USA during the 2018 Kwara State Association of Nigeria, North America (KSANG) convention, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi was awarded the prestigious “Meritorious Service Award” in recognition of his humanitarian, leadership, and passion for the people of Kwara State both home and abroad with a plaque with an inscription of “KSANG is very proud of your selfless service to humanity.”  This is indeed a triple award weekend and an emotional time for a humble son of Kwara State that believes in service to humanity and providing representative leadership to the people.

As the various awards reflect, his passion for excellence in the areas good leadership through service to humanity is quite self-evidenced.  It is no mere coincidence that these awards galore came on about the date that Igbomina Mobile Clinic turned two years old of active service.  Igbomina Mobile Clinic provides the good people of Kwara South with first line healthcare services that has resulted in saving many lives and helping many others uncover manageable deadly diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes.  Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi and many others in the Igbomina Community North America organization initiated and sponsored this life saving program.

Along with the Igbomina Mobile Clinic program, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun sponsored many water intervention programs across Kwara South.  In addition, the support of education is always very important to Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi.  In collaboration with others have supported School Kits program, School Supplies programs, hiring and paying for teachers leading to better test scores for our students, and most importantly rebuilding dilapidated school structures in order to ensure a safe environment for learning for our students.

By all account, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi numerous awards list will keep growing as his pursuits for making life a bit better for others is a life long objective for him.  He is a true leader and a great son of Igbomina indeed.  His leadership and track record of performances are great indicators for what awaits the people of Kwara South Senatorial district as he seeks to be the Senator of the people.  Wishing his good luck in his endeavors and aspirations while saluting his leadership and ability to deliver for the people.
