Sarkin Gobir Congratulates New Chief Imam Of Ilorin
The Sarkin Gobir and Madawaki of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Yakubu Garba Gobir, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki (Imam Fulani) on his appointment as the new Chief Imam of Ilorin Emirate.
In a congratulatory message, Sarkin Gobir described the appointment, which was approved by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, as well-deserved and a recognition of Sheikh Dasuki's unwavering commitment to the growth of Islam, exemplary character, and years of dedicated service to the Muslim community.
The Sarkin Gobir expressed confidence in the new Chief Imam's ability to provide sound spiritual guidance, foster unity among Muslims, and uphold the rich Islamic heritage and values for which Ilorin Emirate is renowned.
He prayed Almighty Allah to grant Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki wisdom, good health, strength, and divine guidance in the discharge of his responsibilities as Chief Imam of Ilorin Emirate.
Alhaji Gobir also commended the Emir of Ilorin for his wisdom and leadership in making the appointment and prayed for continued peace, progress, and prosperity in the Emirate.
