Land-grabber Wike Blasts Atiku, Obi-led ADC Coalition As ‘Politically Expired’
FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, who is enmeshed in a massive land looting scandal, has dismissed opposition politicians—including Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), and other critics of President Bola Tinubu’s government—as politically expired people.
Mr. Wike, during the flag-off and commissioning of a road in the Ushafa-Bwari area of Abuja on Wednesday, berated the coalescing politicians who keep jumping from one political party to another, saying nothing is working under Mr Tinubu’s watch.“Let them hear. Let those who don’t have vision, who are politically expired, and those who, since 1999, have belonged to over 10 political parties — let them see what you’re doing,” Mr Wike said.
He added, “Whichever channel they want to watch, they will see Mr. President. And yet, people are saying nothing is working. Must we come to their houses before they know something is working? Unfortunately, we won’t come to their houses.”
Mr Wike’s boast comes as large numbers of school children and workers in the Federal Capital Territory besieged the FCTA office on Wednesday over a prolonged strike, demanding that the FCT minister meet their demands.
The school children are demanding that Mr Wike, who is embroiled in a massive land looting scandal exclusively exposed by The Peoples Gazette, reopen their schools, which have remained under lock and key, while teachers and other FCTA workers demand that their allowances and salaries be paid.
