Ace Broadcaster Jabulani Named PRO as Iree Progressive Association Inaugurates New Executive
The Iree Progressive Association (IPA) has officially inaugurated its new executive council, with renowned broadcaster Afolabi Jolaoluwa Jabulani emerging as the Public Relations Officer (PRO). The event, held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, in Iree, Osun State, was a gathering of dignitaries, community leaders, and indigenes from across the globe.
The highlight of the ceremony was the installation of Pastor Tunde Kajogbola as the new President of the association, alongside other executives. In his inaugural address, Pastor Kajogbola expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve, paying tribute to the royal father, Oba Murtala Oyelakin Oyekun III, the Aree of Ireeland, and the immediate past president, Engr. Oluwole Taiwo, for their leadership and contributions to Iree’s development.
“This is a call to action for every son and daughter of Iree. Together, we will build on the foundation laid by our predecessors and work towards a prosperous future,” Kajogbola said.
The newly appointed PRO, Jabulani, widely celebrated for his contributions to media and communication, pledged to leverage his expertise to strengthen the association’s outreach and engagement with the community.
Outgoing president Engr. Oluwole Taiwo urged the new leadership to build on the achievements of his administration, emphasizing the need for unity and collaboration in advancing the community’s goals.
The inauguration ceremony underscored the association’s commitment to fostering development, inclusivity, and sustainable progress for all members of the Iree community, both at home and abroad.
