PHOTOS: Late Hon. (Mrs) Elizabeth Anjorin Laid To Rest In Ancestral Home
In a solemn ceremony, the late Hon. (Mrs) Elizabeth Anjorin was laid to rest on Wednesday at the Isare-Opin cemetery in Isare Opin, Ekiti Local Government, Kwara State.
The burial proceedings were followed by a thanksgiving service to honor the life and legacy of the deceased.
Former Vice Chairman and Supervisor for Finance, as well as the Secretary to the Ekiti Local Council of Kwara State, Hon. (Mrs) Elizabeth Anjorin, peacefully passed away at the age of 67 on Thursday, the 18th of April, 2024. Her final resting place was sealed on Wednesday, the 24th of April, 2024.
The burial and thanksgiving service took place at the Anglican Church in Isare Opin, Ekiti Local Government, Kwara State, at around 10:00 am.
The host minister, Rev. S.A. Olukade, presided over the ceremony, ensuring a dignified farewell for Hon. (Mrs) Elizabeth Anjorin.
Among the dignitaries present were Prince Sunday Adeniran Fagbemi, the APC State Chairman; Sen S.S Ajibola; Prof Wale Sulieman; Hon Gbenga Makanjuola; Dr Gambari; Hon Yinka Dallas; Hon Dele Abiodun; Hon Agbelusi, the Ekiti LGA PDP chairman; Hon Taiye Ashaolu; Chief Michael Ogundele; Hon Adaramola; Hon Oluwole Ayeni; a representative of the chairman of Seap Micro Finance; Chief Mrs Bola Iyaloja Isare; Hon. Mrs Ebun Owolabi, Hon CT Ayeni; Alh Musa Ahmad Olamilekan, CEO of MAO Autos Inspire company, Lekki; Alh Amuda (chairman Fulani); Sheikh Salman Almogaji; and Alh Adam Amuda (chairman Fulani).
The late Hon. (Mrs) Elizabeth Anjorin will be remembered for her significant contributions to her community and her unwavering dedication to public service. She leaves behind a lasting legacy that will be cherished by her loved ones and those who had the privilege of knowing her.
May her soul rest in peace.
