Monitor Allocations Coming To Kwara, Other States, Esinrogunjo Tells Tinubu

A former Special Adviser to the Kwara State Government Comrade Musbau Esinrogunjo has charged the Federal Government led by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to as a matter of urgency start to monitor allocations sent to the state from the federal account.

Esinrogunjo said this is with a view to preventing diversion or usage of the funds for projects that do not have any impact on the people.

Speaking with newsmen during his birthday Special Prayer and Annual Ramadan Lecture held at Esinrogunjo compound, Pakata, Ilorin, the former Kwara Governor’s Aide expressed concern about the challenges facing the nation, urging the federal government to implement decisive measures to enhance the welfare of citizens, particularly in light of the rising costs of food and other essential items.

“The present administrator doesn’t have program for the masses as hunger is ravaging all over the country

There is hunger everywhere, it is so sad that in Nigeria today, there is govt of self being, and serving a nation is not by force” He said.

Esinrogunjo, however, urged the federal government to consistently oversee the allocation provided to the state to prevent diversion and ensure it is used for its intended purposes.

He also encouraged the Kwara State Government to follow suit by prioritizing the well-being of the masses.
