Aladodo Tasks Muslims On Peace, Unity As Ramadan Begins
The Young Progressives Party, YPP, Kwara House of Assembly candidate for Ajikobi/Alanamu Constituency during the 2023 election Barr. Abdullateef Aladodo has asked Muslim faithful to place peace and unity of Nigeria above any other thing as they commence the 30 day Ramadan fast.
In a statement on Friday Aladodo urged the Muslims to reflect on the teachings of Ramadan as one of the five pillars of Islam through acts of kindness, generosity, love, unity and support for the weak.”
According to him, “Ramadan is a period of spiritual upliftment and devotion to Almighty Allah which the faithful should take advantage of to reinvigorate spiritually.”
“I urged you to continue to preach peace and peaceful coexistence in our dear state, which is known for brotherhood of all irrespective of tribe or religion. Also, I charge you to use this holy month of Ramadan to pray for peace in our country, Nigeria”, Aladodo said.
