100 Youths Benefit A Million Naira Each To Boost Their Businesses By AbdulAzeez Lukman

... as the era of breeding thugs with Kwara money is gone

A sociopolitical organization with concern for promotion of good governance and development in the state, the Kwara Peoples Network has hailed exemplary performance of the present APC administration in the state.

In a statement signed by the state coordinator, Comr Busayo David, and made available by the State Secretary, Abdulazeez Lukman, the organization thanked Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq for his commitment to moving the state to the next level as promised during the electioneering campaign.

The group also lauded the development strides of the new administration across the state, including Kwara ICT hub, Ilorin Visual Art Center, Garment Factory, to mention but a few, as well as leading to about 5000 youth being gainfully employed.

Also, expansion and construction of roads which are going on across the state, the Tanke Flyover, implementation of minimum wage, payment of one-year colleges of education outstanding subvention, grants to aged people in the state and more.

To crown it all, 100 youths got one million Naira each to boost their business on the celebration of International Youth Day 2022. These are some of the landslide achievements which has never happened in the history of the state.

It is on record that during the last two administrations, Kwara state's residents were disconnected completely from the government and its views. The dividends of democracy were forcefully taken away from Kwarans. In the reign of Bukola Saraki and Abdulfatah Ahmed, youths and women were never given room for quality involvement in politics. But many thanks to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq who, through his passion-led administration, has connected everybody back within the space of three years via opinion polls, full involvement, and lots more. AbdulRazaq is set to do more if given the chance.

The Maigida administration lacked the political will to execute projects. You can still recall that no meaningful project was done for the complete eight years under the administration. All the House of Assembly were rubber stamped. The only reasonable project done in Kwara South by the last administration was IVTEC, which is a conglomerate of the National Assembly in Kwara state, inherited by Abdulfatah Ahmed, claiming it was a state project done by him.

The eight years of Bukola Saraki's projects in Kwara state were federal government projects, and the Cargo he claimed to have done was not serving any meaningful things to the masses, it has been turned into a garment factory by ABDULRAHMAN ABULRAZAQ, more Youth can gain employment after the completion by December 2022.

With these, Governor Abdulrazaq has again put the opposition in disarray. Many did not believe that he can go this far. Optimistically, by the end of this year, opposition in the state would beg to join the ‘Ark’ of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.

The organization thus enjoined Kwarans to support Gov AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq for a second term in office to allow him build on the solid foundations he has laid and to maintain and supervise the projects he executed for continuity sake. It then stressed that the rot of 16 years can not be cleared in 4 years.
