Xavier Hernandez On New Appointment Names 3 Players He's Selling-off

The 41-year-old former Barcelona star midfielder, Xavier Hernandez was on Monday assigned to the role of first-team manager for the Barcelona team, he was appointed to this post after the sack of the predecessor; Ronald Koeman whom ended his last month matches with disappointing results.

The Camp Nou club side has recorded a quite heartbreaking start like never before into the La Liga this season, hence this shows that Xavi indeed has great and serious job at hand. As it is that the club management often at this case of a new lead accounts for which players to be disposed and which to be brought in, Xavi has made up his mind to the club on three (3) players he wishes to discard off the team. He further added to the management that the slaes of these players would also create room to bring in new faces and also increase the sales on the club’s wage bill.

The players he listed up for sale include; 31-year-old Dutch player (Neto), French-side man (Samuel Umtiti) and Brazilian backup goalkeeper (Luk de Jong). These three are looking to be sold-off by the club by January, as they according to the new first-team manager have not being of much value to the team.

Can Xavi bring back the lost glory? Is the exit of Messi the downfall of Barcelona?
