Kwarapoly NAKSS Commends AbdulRazaq On Students Welfare
The President of The National Association of Kwara State Student ( NAKSS ) Kwara Polytechnic chapter, under the Leadership of The Revolutionary Kwarapolites President, Sen. Adeyanju Sunday has commended and described Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as a student-Governor for his concerted efforts geared towards provision of conducive environment for learning in the state, especially in Kwara State Polytechnic.
Sen. Adeyanju Sunday, who Doubles as the NAKSS NHQs Senate Leader, made this commendation during a courtesy visit to the Governor, wherein he also pitched the Association's upcoming Entrepreneurship Contest, tagged "VALUE OF TACKLING UNEMPLOYMENT THROUGH ENTREPRENEURSHIP MEASURES OF MALLAM ABDULRAHMAN ABDULRASAQ", to the Governor.
According to the Revolutionary President, the contest is a brainchild of the Association and it was conceived as part of its efforts to equip the students populace with the requisite knowledge needed to survive the current economy reality, which the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic has made unbearable.
Sen. Adeyanju emphasized that the contest is designed to avail the students of information about how they can survive the current economy dispensation and how they can escape the perennial unemployment situation in the country using entrepreneurship.
In his remarks, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq expressed his delights on the visit and reassured the students of his firm resolve to prioritize their welfare especially in areas like provision of adequate water supply, security of lives and property and electrification of the institution ( #operationlightupkwarapoly). He equally reaffirmed his determination to ensure that they receive world-class education in the institution.
Speaking further, Governor AbdulRazaq while appreciating the students leadership for the idea, he also encouraged them to conceive more developmental and sustainable ideas.
In his final remark, the students leader, Sen. Adeyanju Sunday thanked the Rector of the institution, Engr. Abdul Muhammed Jimoh, who doubles as the Matron of the Association, for his fatherly contribution to students welfare in the institution.
He also appreciated the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Barrister Senior Sulymon, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Engagement Kaosara Adeyi and Chief Executive Officer, Kursi International, Ambassador Yahya Seriki for their supports to students development in the institution.
