Gov. Abdulrazaq Donates Potable Water To Schools in Kajola Community
As part of the efforts of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led administration in tackling water crisis in Kwara State, the age long water challenges facing with students in Kajola Community of Oke Ero Local Government area was put to an end as two motorised boreholes was installed at Kajola model secondary school and community LGEA Kajola school.
The project was facilitated by Hon. Femi Arekujaye through a philantropist, SA Domestic to the Governor of Kwara state Hon. Obasanjo Alashi popularly known as SOJ.
The Kwara state governor who was ably represented by Hon. Alashi was accompany by Hon. Bode Towoju and Hon. Gani Abolarin the Honorable member representing ekiti local government at the Kwara state house of assembly to commissioned the project were received by mammoth crowd of Kajola community.
The event was colorful as hundreds of youths led by Femi Arekujaye were seen chantting "AA LEEKAN SI!"
The TIC chairman of Oke Ero local government Hon. Victor Gbenga charged the people to key into AbdulRaman Agenda of taking the state to a desirable point.
His Royal Highness Oba J.O Oyewole the Edemorun of Kajola Land in his speech during the commissioning elougised the kind gesture of the Kwara state governor towards Kajola Community and he pledged his full support to Governor AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq led-Administration.
The Oke Ero Local government TIC Secretary, Hon. Femi Arekujaye in his closing remarks said, the commissioning of the borehole project fit into an ongoing agenda of Gov. AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq led administration especially in the area of Infrastructure where the governor is working day and night in delivering on its promises to ensure better life for kwarans, irrespective of what the naysayers are saying. On behalf of my community we say thank you for your good work sir."
"In access to clean water from a newly drilled borehole, hundreds of students from the two schools, 20 teachers and the community now have more time to focus on education and have improvement on health and safety.
He also Stressed further by given glory to God Almighty who made the project possible to be commissioned in less than two weeks of its outset.
He also thanked the executive governor of Kwara state Mallam AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq for his swift action in providing the water for the students and the community in need of it in Kajola Oke Ero Local government Area of Kwara state.
"Also in Area of Education, the leading governor is working immensely well. Right beside the community here, we have Kwara State University KWASU Osi campus which I'm sure, under the leading governor the project will be completed and be commissioned very soon by Gov. AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq. And I'm sure at the time been of the completion, the university would also provide massive employments and generate high marginal IGR, it will also prompt development and civilization to the two local governments and its environ."
"I will also implore my people that as you enjoy the benefits of this water project let us not forget how important our support to Governor AbdulRaman is, recall water plays a crucial role in our daily lives, especially for the purpose of drinking, bathing, washing and cleaning."
