Fedpoffa Announces Resumption Date, New Academic Calendar

Following the Federal Government’s directive that all institutions should resume, the Management of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State has released an official date for resumption of second semester and commencement of academic activities.

The resumption date was revealed after the Academic Board Meeting held on Monday 5th, October 2020 at the Polytechnic’s Main Campus.

The official release signed by the Director of Information, Public Relations and protocol, Mr. Olayinka Iroye reads:

“Subsequent upon the directive of the Federal Government that all institutions should resume and the Academic Board approval of the Academic calendar for 2nd Semester, 2019/2020 commencing on 12th October 2020, ”

“All students are hereby informed of the commencement of lectures and other academic activities from Monday 12th October 2020. Hostels will be opened from Sunday 11th October 2020 for students who are residents on campus.”

“Please, note that wearing of face mask on campuses is mandatory while strict adherence to all other covid-19 rules such as washing of hands, use of hand sanitizer, physical/social distancing and other Covid-19 safety protocols are also compulsory. The Management therefore welcomes all students back to campus and wish them a hitch-free second semester.”
