#EndSARSNow Protesters Storm Kwara Police Headquarters

#EndSARSNow protesters on Thursday stormed Kwara Command Police Headquarters in Ilorin to demand for disbandment of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

The protesters armed placards with different inscriptions such as ‘Justice for all SARS victims’, ‘Disband SARS’, ‘Police Should Protect us and Not Extort us’ and Open up SARS Cells.

They marched from Unity Roundabout to Police Headquarters located in GRA Ilorin, the state capital to press home their demands.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police in Kwara State, Paul Omata who addressed the protesters hailed them for their peaceful conduct and promised to deliver their messages to higher authority in Nigeria Police Force for necessary action.

Kwara Command Police Spokesman, SP Okasanmi and the Deputy Commissioner of Police hailed the protesters for their peaceful conduct.

Earlier, the Convener of the protest, Comrade Olanrewaju Buhari said Nigerians can no longer close their mouths against the Police brutality happening across the country.
