Kwara Assembly Approves World Bank $2m Grant

The Kwara State House of Assembly at Tuesday Plenary approved a sum of two million dollars grant to be accessed from World Bank by the State Government.

Sequel to a message from Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq addressed to the Speaker of the House, Rt Hon. Yakubu Salihu Danladi.

The approval was granted after the House desolved itself into Committee of whole for deliberations on the Governor’s request.

The Speaker said, the request is in line with the present administration’s resolve towards economic revival and overall development of the state.
